So, you want to play a Demon? Woopty doo...

Na, really, that's actually really cool and I'm glad you're here. Let's talk about that a little, shall we?

White Wolf tends to do this thing where they make each new batch of a thing more and more badass. Vampires are less powerful than Werewolves which are less powerful than Mages which are less powerful than Demons. D:tF is arguably one of the power potent systems available. And when you couple that with the fact that the have virtually no Masquerade or Veil to maintain, and are neigh impossible for non-Demons to kill? Hoo-boy do you have a recipe for some OP antics.

While I don't want to encourage that, I want you as players to know that I'm not afraid of your dots. If you've read the XP award system, it's entirely possible to get A LOT of xp for a White Wolf game here. I want you to buy stuff. I want you to feel powerful. I want you to use your powers.

If I say no to a thing, it's for legitimate reasons. If this game manages to go a few years, it's entirely possible that the world can be destroyed with the power that D:tF can levy against it. It's designed that way. The return of the Fallen is a sign of the end times. All of White Wolf has an 'end times' scenario, which can be embraced or ignored as you see fit. Fallen is unique in that they *ARE* the end time, so you're forced to deal with the elephant in the room.

The fate of the world is in the hands of the PCs at some point, I won't balk at their decisions, and I won't throw dice to save NPCs or artificially inflate the difficulty of a thing after it's started.

That said, D:tF have a hard time soaking and a hard time healing. Y'all might die. I won't throw those dice either. (permanent death is trickier, though)
