Downtime Actions: Empty Downtime Actions:

So.....

This game is real-time, more or less. Which is to say, that as time passes in the real world, time passes in the game world. There are many actions in this game that require extended, or long term actions (profound Influence actions, numerous Research checks, Legacy checks for things that aren't like 'flash, I remember' things, etc and so forth). The game, on occasion, tells us how to handle these sorts of things in what sort of timeframe they take. Sometimes they don't. For the things that are nebulous, we are going to say that they take a month, more or less, to give 1- Staff time to look into the item, and 2- to make the action in question *feel* like it took some doing to accomplish, even if it was resolved with a few checks.

You can perform a number of downtime actions each month equal to your Wits score.

As an addendum to this 'rule':

Downtimes need to be submitted in your character with enough time that 1- Staff can realistically answer them during the same downtime period and 2- Staff can realistically believe that your character has indeed been spending a bunch of time doing the thing that you said they were doing.

As a general rule of thumb, if your downtimes are in the first two weeks of the month, no problem. Anything after that is sketchy, and staff reserves the right to bounce super late submitted actions.
